I started Ajax landscaping in the summer of 2000, and ran it through the summer of 2005. Ajax landscaping specialized in fire fuel reduction around private residences in the Telluride area. We did the majority of our work in the Mountain Village. The main goal of Ajax Landscaping was to improve the general health of the forest while also creating a defendable space should a wildfire start in the area. I sold the company in 2005 to my business partner and long time friend who attended forestry school with me at the University of Montana.
